Hi - I'm Jen, the owner of Cruising Characters; and this is my little family, supporting this small business! I am originally from MN, but we are a local Libertyville family for the last 10+ years, active in tons of kids sports & activities and busy trying to raise productive little humans! I love to plan events and create moments for my kids and enjoy bringing happiness to others...so Cruising Characters allows me to do all of this and more! I coordinate behind the scenes and have a fabulous team of performers who get the privilege of entertaining at your events! We look forward to helping you create memories for your family as well!

Teamwork!
Given the nature of the business, we don't see one another in person often. When a booking request comes in, I coordinate schedules to get performers lined up and ready to go. The team takes it from there and works their magic at a party, bringing their own special flare. And aside from lots of phone calls and texts to organize each event, we don't get a lot of face-to-face time...so our quarterly team dinners are fun to reconnect, plan and organize for what's next!
Public Events
Birthdays are definitely our specialty; but we love a chance to meet & mingle for big events too! We have done farmers markets, "National Night Outs", daycare and school appearances and large private events for corporations or private clubs. Our performers are great at mingling through the crowd, surprising your guests and bringing a little something extra to the party! Contact me for more details!
